I commissioned Stan to make a Piccolo Vento wind sculpture for my wife’s 40th birthday after seeing the sculptures on display at Hillier’s. It is simply fantastic – a work of art and craftsmanship. Beautifully engineered and looks amazing in the garden. Stan delivered and set-up the sculpture personally – just in time for my wife’s birthday!

Our visit to Hilliers in Romsey was to see an embroidery exhibition celebrating Capability Browns 300th Anniversary. Unfortunately on the day we visited the exhibition wasn’t open. There was also a sculpture trail around the gardens so rather than just turn tail and go home we followed the trail. There were many lovely pieces on show but the ones that really caught my eye were Stan’s wind sculptures. I stood and watched them for quite a while. Once home I looked at the various pictures I had taken and decided that I would love to own one. I contacted Stan and placed my order for a Piccolo Vento. Stan delivered the piece a few weeks later and it’s now in place in the garden. A beautiful piece of art and workmanship. Thank you.
